BENTONVILLE, Arkansas. (KNWA/KFTA) – Air travel has returned to pre-pandemic levels, according to TSA officials.
The terminals are again crowded with long lines for screening and check-in, so TSA officials at Northwest Arkansas National Airport have released some tips and advice for those traveling on June 8th.
“We also found that some travelers have forgotten how to travel,” said Patricia Mancha, a TSA spokesperson. “You know, there’s a trick to that. We just want to have reminders for some people so that when they arrive at the airport, when they get to the checkpoint, they have more experience.”
Some of the general tips include emptying hand luggage before packing it. TSA agents say the first excuse they hear about banned material is “I forgot what was in there.”
The TSA also recommends remembering the 3-1-1 rule. Passengers can only have 3.4 ounces of liquid in a container and it must be stored in one 1 quart. Zip bag.
Finally, the agency recommends that you consider TSA pre-screening to expedite the security clearance process.
