BUFFALO, NEW YORK. Buffalo drivers should be aware of the bridge closing on Friday.
The New York State Department of Transportation is informing Buffalo drivers that New York Route 5 via Tifft Street will be closed on Friday starting at 6:00 pm for paving work. The bridge will be closed to traffic due to paving work.
Traffic in both directions will avoid the bridge, exiting onto Tifft Street and immediately returning to the highway.
Drivers are reminded to slow down and drive responsibly in work areas.
