The report also highlights the importance of implementing affordable residency programs for Arab businessmen to stimulate investment and reconsider opening entry to restricted citizens from countries requiring prior approval such as Afghanistan, Iran, Philippines, Pakistan, Vietnam, Iraq, Yemen, Bangladesh, Ethiopia. , and Guinea, among others.
With regard to the restaurant sector, the report calls for a quota for permits and employment in the tourism sector and a review of the numerous fees levied on these activities.
In terms of civil society institutions and the local community, the report highlights the need to pay attention to local tourism and small and medium-sized investment projects funded and managed by members of the local community, such as eco-camps, agricultural tourism projects, and tourism route enterprises.
The report also calls for the involvement of local communities in the preparation of tourism development plans in their areas, improving the efficiency of road infrastructure connecting the target sites, paying attention to public services through daily monitoring and a periodic maintenance plan.
In this regard, the report highlights the possibility of using the experience of neighboring countries such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia in the management of public services and the preparation of tourist and archaeological sites to help tourists easily visit these attractions and become familiar with their historical importance.
