NEW YORK (AP) — Retired pitcher C.C. Sabathia and outfielder Andre Ethier will play in an All-Star Celebrity Softball Game at Dodger Stadium on July 16, along with Olympic softball gold medalists Lisa Fernandez, Jenny Finch and Natasha Whatley.
Actors Rob Lowe, Zachary Levi, Anthony Ramos, Simu Liu, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II were also announced for Monday’s game, along with singers Lele Pons and JoJo Siwa, rapper Kuavo, snowboarder Chloe Kim, and wrestler Michael Gregory Mizanin, aka “Miz.
The softball game follows the Top Prospects Futures game and precedes the Rebecca Marie Gomez aka Becky J.
This year’s futures game and softball have been moved a day ahead of their regular Sunday slot. The Home Run Derby will take place on July 18th and the All-Star Game on July 19th.
