QuikTrip adds more locations to its new network of remote travel centers

Calera, Alabama and BELLMEADE, Texas – QuikTrip Corp. (QT) announced the opening of new remote travel centers in Calera and Bellmead.

The Calera Store offers snacks, services, and philanthropic support to the local community, and provides help and safety for at-risk youth as a designated safe space through a partnership between QuikTrip, Family Connection Inc. and National Safe Place.

Family Connection Inc. are an excellent agency to partner with as their mission aligns with our commitment to providing young people with a safe and supportive environment and making Calera a stronger community for all.

QT is a longtime partner of Safe Place, sharing the vision of safe neighborhoods and communities. Since 1991 CTDesignated safe spaces were a place for runaway and at-risk young people to come in from the street, get food and drink, and wait for a volunteer from a partner agency, Safe Place, to connect them with professional help. QT provides grants to local Safe Place agencies to help support their mission.

CaleraThe Safe Place Initiative, operated by Family Connection, is part of a national network of Safe Place programs in 39 states. More than 22,000 community businesses and organizations around the country display the “Safe Place” sign, making help available to youth in need.

NEW PLACE IN TEXAS

The new Remote Travel Center in Bellmead is called QT.first in the community. It has a larger engineered lot and a more spacious magazine than the traditional QT. The Visitor Center has space for servicing 20 gas vehicles and six diesel compartments for trucks.

We are excited to expand our footprint in Texas with our first Remote Travel Center in Bellmead. We look forward to introducing our unique QuikTrip brand and culture to our new community, Jefferson Smith said. The Travel Center allows us not only to make useful connections with our new local customers in Bellmead, but also to serve travelers in this vibrant part of the country.
