NMU launches a new master’s program related to tourism

Northern Michigan University introduces a new graduate program.

The Master’s Degree in Outdoor Recreation and Nature Based Tourism Management will be part of the University College of Graduate Studies and Research.

It will be conducted mainly online, with only two face-to-face summer workshops.

School officials say the new course of study is for people who currently work in parks and recreation who want to move into administrative positions, as well as prospective students interested in those careers.

Classes will start this fall. For details on the new Master’s Degree in Outdoor Recreation and Nature Tourism Management, click here.
