CAMDEN — The Camden Public Library welcomes the Midcoast Brass Quintet back to the Camden Amphitheater on Wednesday, June 15 at 6:00 pm for a free public concert kicking off the “Summer Music and Theater Series.”
“Pack up a picnic dinner and enjoy a musical evening with family and neighbors,” the Library said in a press release. “Bring a camping chair or blanket for comfortable sitting.”
The Midcoast Brass Quintet is a group of five fellow musicians (Peter Stewart, Megan Kennedy, Doug Kennedy, Caroline Kaniki and Bruce Cole) who came together in 2008 to perform a mix of classical, patriotic, jazz, rock, pop, ragtime and show melodies and marches.
“These are local favorites whose fun-filled concerts delight people of all ages,” the Library said in a statement.
The summer music and theater series is sponsored by Allen Insurance and Financial.
