Lenny Bruce, Joan Rivers and Bill Hicks blazed their own trail for comedy before they left, and now they’re blazing new trails: like action figures.
The trio is immortalized in plastic—though Rivers may have been joking by now—as part of Nacelle’s Legends of Laughter figurine line.
The numbers fit quite naturally for the company behind the documentary series. The toys that made us and Toy store near youand award-winning label Comedy Dynamics.
Each figurine will be packaged with a QR code giving collectors access to the artist’s previously unreleased track personally curated by the estates of Rivers, Hicks and Bruce.
In a statement Melissa Rivers, Joan’s daughter, joked, “I think the term stick figure can be a bit ambitious for a woman who decides to do a martini exercise.” She added, “Still, it’s a pleasure to see my mother in captivity, and I really mean captivity.”
