Looking back on the creation of Ennismore: A partnership between French hotel giant ACCOR and English startup Ennismore
In October 2021, ACCOR and Ennismore completed their joint venture. Thus, the two hotel groups created a new organization called Ennismore by merging their Lifestyle brands. Accor becomes the majority shareholder in the operations of this new company with more than two-thirds of the capital. The rest is owned by Ennismore founder Sharan Parisha.
With this merger, these two hospitality players aim to become the world’s largest Lifestyle hotel operator by combining the market know-how of Ennismore Lifestyle and the strength of the ACCOR hotel group to spread and grow.
Today, Ennismore has a portfolio of 14 hotel and coworking brands, as well as over 150 restaurants and bars. In total, the new company includes 87 operating hotels and more than 141 hotel projects under development. …
