Brand USA President and CEO Chris Thompson talks about IPW, National Tourism Strategy and more

Brand USA, which promotes travel to the United States, recently received $250 million in emergency funding.

This week at IPW in Orlando, Florida, we caught up with Brand USA President and CEO Chris Thompson to find out how the organization plans to use the money. A new national travel and tourism strategy aims to attract 90 million foreign visitors by 2027.

Thompson also shares his thoughts on the importance of a major travel expo that will generate several billion dollars in future travel to the United States.

In addition, Thompson talks about the recent gun violence in America and the importance of the travel industry.
