Bella Thorne has reportedly broken up with Benjamin Mascolo.
The 24-year-old star, who previously dated musician Mod Sun, and Benjamin, 28, broke off their engagement and ended their romance after three years together.
A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Their conflicting and busy schedules led to them spending a lot of time apart, which led to a breakup.”
Despite this, the insider also assured that their separation was “amicable.”
The celebrity duo started dating back in April 2019 after they met on Lake Como in Italy.
Bella previously opened up about their romance, admitting she was “lucky” with Benjamin in her life.
The actress, who played Margot Darling on Dirty Sexy Money, called the singer “a perfect example” and also said she was “lucky” to be with him.
She shared, “I feel so lucky to have my Ben. He’s really just a perfect example and I honestly don’t know how I got so lucky with him.
“I like to constantly learn about his life, his culture and everything connected with him. [It’s] it’s just so interesting when you date someone who didn’t grow up with the same moral values and the same things as you.”
Bella and Benjamin got engaged while filming the romantic drama Time Out and he announced it on his Instagram account.
Along with images of Bella’s engagement ring, Benjamin wrote on the photo-sharing platform, “She said YES. [ring and heart emojis] @bellathorn (sic)”
Benjamin also celebrated their engagement in a video message he posted online.
The singer, who made his debut in the film Time is Up, said, “Thank you for being a wonderful baby. I love you so much. Hooray, we’re getting married. Celebration in Italy and America (sic).”
